    Hello all,
my fathers speedmaster automatic needs servicing. I believe it is a variant of the valjoux 7750 but could be wrong. Any recommendations on someone who can take care of it for me? Given the common movement I don't think I need to send to my regular watchmaker I use for my tri-compaxes (read very expensive and long wait times). Any suggestions appreciated.
    thanks!

Not sure for Tennessee, one of our members in Missouri uses Steve N2FHL , a NJ watchmaker and member here.

    Hi,
i am in Nashville, Tn. As for model, I am not exactly sure. It is not the professional. It is an auto speed master without a date. 18mm lugs and smaller case (aroun 38mm). I believe it is a mid / late 90s model and probably based off a V7750. It does have the tri-compax dial configuration though, not the traditional V7750 sub-dial layout.

Sounds like a Speedmaster reduced...options for service will be a bit more limited if it is due to the modular chronograph.

    Cheers, Al

You guys are too much. Great video.

Here are a few pics. It does appear to be modular.

Yep, an ETA with a DD module on top. You can tell by the pushers being on a different plane from the crown.

If Al Archer or Steve N2FHL didn't want it, for serious repair I'd go to Bienne.
