Recently spotted a Gold speedsonic in mexico on the 'bay. I haggled the seller down to $750 US and it finally arrived.
The movement is running beautifully - just in need of a service.

It had a broken (dent - screwdriver went through the Spanish day wheel) - I've ordered an English 1255 wheel.

It had a strap (Tissot 22m but with an Omega clasp).

Can anyone scratch their heads and try and recall if Omega fitted their own straps to these or did they use Tissot's strap??

I am struggling to find a replacement - it's sitting on a nice leather strap, but my wife loves the gold.

What do people recommend for a vintage 22m gold fit? Aftermarket period - or try and hunt on Omega strap?????

My budget is up to $400 or so.
