Omega Speedmaster X-33 Marstimer Micro-Adjustable Clasp Info w/ Part Numbers

First post... I searched for this info forever via the web, forums and Reddit, so I figured I would share it.

I have been wanting to buy an Omega Marstimer since its release, but what preventing me from doing so was the lack of a micro adjustable clasp.

There are so many speculative posts and conflicting info, I thought I would add the following info for others that may be searching for the same.

To replace the existing clasp you need the following OEM parts:

(1) 117TIZ001151 Omega Seamaster Adjustable Titanium Clasp
(2) 118TI1589 Omega Seamaster 18mm Titanium Clasp Links

I bought the watch at my AD plus these 3 parts via Swiss Watch Part and viola', I now have a X-33 with a full titanium OEM micro-adjustable clasp.

I believe this solution would also work on the 3rd Generation Speedmaster X-33 Skywalker (2014–current), but I can not confirm as I do not own one.

Hope this info may help others.

ps: Please excuse the quality of the wrist shots - just quick snaps to show the functionality.

Do you notice a color difference? The clasp is originally for a Seamaster using Grade 5 Ti. Your Marstimer is Grade 2 Ti.

Was a third party the only option, I would expect it to still be available from Omega?

Just peering at my wrist there is a slight difference, BUT only on the clasp and zero on the clasp links... so I suspect it has more to do with the large brushed clean surface of the clasp and how it reflects the light... this weekend I will look at the original clasp and compare the two for a more definitive answer.

The reason I ordered the OEM parts from a vendor vs Omega is my AD nor via emails between the Omega Service Center were in anyway helpful, in fact both told me it could not be done. Via my own research and the helpful posts of others I figured out the clasp, but could only find the needed clasp links in stainless. However in a subsequent exchange with the Swiss Watch Parts, he found there was a suitable titanium clasp link option available, but its part number was odd since it didn't include the normal "TI" in its nomenclature. I would have never found this on my own, so I decided the least I could do is buy the parts from him as a courtesy for his time even if I paid more.

Just to clear up any confusion - the clasp links do have a "TI" designator in their correct part number, but every place -I- found did not include them... I posted the correct number.

As promised I pulled out the original clasp to contrast the colors side by side, they appeared the same other than the adjustable being considerably longer, but in direct sunlight the original clasp appears a very slight hue darker - very minor imo. Hope this helps.
