I think it was speculated the summer holiday period may be affecting production, I'll be happy if I get mine this side of Christmas now.

They said the watches would be released in batches, so it makes sense.

Still waiting here.

I'm 103. 😡

I think @cicindela 's theory that they're being produced in the order the reservations were made is probably correct - I snagged mine during the night after the announcement, when someone must've backed out. This probably means I'll get mine in 2025

I dunno, I got my reservation very early that morning, within minutes of the IG announcement and the email from Omega, and have received no word.

Someone else said that the engraving machine does them at random.

Being an engineer makes me challenge the excuse of the engraving machine, as the time to engrave each cannot be long with today's computerized equipment. Unless the same machine is being used for every other engraving in every other model? Doubt they have a single machine at the factory

Wonder if I'm the first Speedy Tuesday owner to have picked up a few scratches and scuffs already?😗

I try to look after my watches but don't baby them, they're bought to wear.

I put a small ding in the edge of the bezel on my TinTin within a week of getting it. In 50 years someone may fawn over it, and how it carries stories from the original owner.

...but I know I just accidentally bumped it against a metal chair at the office, while not working on anything that is changing or reshaping the world as we know it. 😟

What kind of scratches did you get? I got some minor on the inside of the lugs and back of the lugs from changing straps. Kind of hurt as this is my first expensive watch!

Scratches on the backs of the lugs, mostly from the first time I removed the 1171 bracelet as it was so tight I had to slide it back away from the case before being able to remove the end links, leaving nice long scratches. Nice scuff on the hesalite, and just noticed a scuff on the lower lug.

Funny enough I made a similar scuff to the lower lug within a week of buying my Apollo-Soyuz. Nothing noticeable thankfully but I feel it Christened.

😁

When it happened I was like this: ::facepalm1:: 😟😟😟😟😟🤔🤔🤔

But then I quickly became like this: 😗 😀

It looked worse when it first happened, but I bent back the lip a little. It is small, but catches the light so it is easier to see then one might expect. But I suspect I will put far worse marks on it over time, as well as marks on the #ST and 60th.

Shoot -- I left out the part about hitting the 18 on the roulette wheel at Ceasar's in Vegas. I had $25k riding, and just as the ball settled into my number and the wheel was slowing to a stop, I realized the buxom blond who had been watching over my shoulder had slipped a mickey into my gin and tonic, and suddenly I blacked out. I woke up three days later amidst a cactus grove in the Sonora desert. My wallet and phone were gone, and I won't even tell you about the clothes I was wearing (WTF happened to my tailored suit???). Oh, and there was a ding on the edge of the bezel on the TinTin.

😁Much better! Whatever that watch was worth, add £1k to it.
