RB and the ST do indeed deserve a 100 page thread, but you can be sure as soon as OF members start receiving them we will probably add another 100 pages to this thread until the end of the year.
Likely discussion topics in the coming months:
More discussion on ST worldwide ETAs...initial photos / wrist shot reviews....then strap mod pics...discussion on resale value as initial flipping begins in earnest..."if you could keep only one would it be the Snoopy or the ST?"...depending on appreciation "would you flip your ST for a Ceramic Daytona?" etc. etc. etc.
Lovely day here in Rio, just got back from a nice beach walk. No...surprise, surprise... my ST has not yet arrived.馃檮
My local OB manager said I might be the only lucky ST reservation in Brazil...certainly in Rio. Oh and I do intend to wear mine, but certainly not as a daily beater. Probably visiting Cape Canaveral with family towards the end of the year...tough choice as to whether to wear the ST or the XI-45 during that visit. 馃榾
Just checked again, no my ST has not arrived馃檮馃嵖

USA/Europe actually have the most no. of pieces reserved. Japan has like 5 only lol.
You have 30 days to pick it up once you get the email but your friend won't be able to collect on your behalf as they are checking id
I hope that is not true, I am only home for two weeks in July and won't be home again until summer 2018. I can't see why I couldn't arrange for someone else to go and pick it up for me on my behalf if my watch hasn't arrived while I am home.
I suspect the reason for this is that they do not want to risk the watches going to people who have not reserved them. Yo might e able to specially arrange this with your collection point but doubt your friend will simply be able to pop in and collect on your behalf
