Ditto. The 'private sales section' wil be booming over the next few months!

Yes, this gives me the chance to grab a very nice vintage piece and get this in the summer.

If I hadn't just bought a new speedy I might have gone for this. Bit much two speedies in a year for my budget

Chinese New Year is January 28th, so if you look at it that way, technically it would be two Speedmasters in separate years which is perfectly reasonable. 馃榿

Creative accounting is a great tool for justifying watch purchases.

Looks like I was able to get one. Just took a random number but I'll take it, especially considering this is my first speedy!

well if you drive a Transaxle, that's actually a pretty darn cool number 馃槑

I think they are all gone. Earlier when I was choosing a number, the "random" button will generate a number. But now when you click "random", the number will not move.

All my numbers were gone, but who cares this is an epic LE. I reserved 1413! Nice sounding number 馃榾

Not only applied, they've used the vintage style Omega logo on the dial and then carried it through to the crown, with a matte finish and even the pushers look rather unique with a concentric matte finish.

I think the only previous LE to use the vintage logo on the crown was the 50th anniversary coaxial 10 years ago.

Also! If you look at the image below you'll see a vintage Omega logo tang buckle on the leather strap, not sure if that comes with it but I'd love to have several of those.

Buckles and crowns will be in hot demand if they are orderable later.

Looks like I'll have to look around for cancelations in a few months.

I wonder if this will further propel the pre-moon market? With omega giving a nod to its old design cues, perhaps now even more sharks in the water for old Moonies 馃槨

For investment? Really hard to tell. But I'm quite sure that this will increase in price. But main consideration should be you like the watch and you will wear it. So even if the prices don't shoot up, you still get to enjoy the watch.

Indeed. But you do get the leather strap and buckle with the watch.
