I saw the watch last night @ an Omega event.....wears as you'd expect on the wrist (Speedy Pro owners would know) and looks great. I was a bit surprised the subdials looked more silver than white like all the pictures dictate.....pretty crackin' watch. Only thing I'd have to say is I'm not impressed with the leather strap in person, I think I'll put a custom cordovan on it and it'd be spectacular. Looking forward to the release.

Thx for posting. Great wrist shot and feedback!

With the silver subdials and overall look of the watch... would a steel brushed bracelet be a good option...now you have seen the ST live?

Personally I think a nice leather strap is needed to make this pop. But to be honest I'm usually in favor of straps on speedies versus bracelets. I don't think you can do this watch wrong bracelet or strap.

Man that is a gorgeous watch! Those excellent photos show the dial very well. You mentioned the sub dials looking a little more silver than white, I can see what you mean with your two shots @sensui. It appears the lighting has quite an effect on the tone of the watch. The top photo appears more white vs the bottom looking like a hint of silver in it. I have yet to see one picture of this watch that didn't impress me!

Maybe is just me but am now less impressed with the ST based on recent live pictures; would have to see it in person to decide!

I was there too! I love it in the metal. Still keeping my fingers crossed for one.

Yep, for the standard black dial Speedy Pro or FOIS totally agree that a brown leather strap take them to another level...still curious to see my ST with the Nato strap and a the steel bracelet...I think it will look good with all of them😀

BTW @sensui, just read your superb post on the Omega section of the Rolex Forums: My impressions with some Omega Basel 2017 Pieces . Even after logging on I can't see the pictures! Could you be so kind as to replicate that post here on the OF...I am sure many would appreciate it.

Oh thanks for the kind words....I detail a bit more on TRF because they're not as entrenched in the Omega culture as the Omega guys are obviously so I didn't want to be too repetitive here with info people already knew. But I just put it up with the pictures for you to peruse. Cheers! Was a really fun event.

Just curious, what's that mean?

Well I would say that a leather strap fits better. I support that view too. Anyway tastes are different... 😉
