Not only applied, they've used the vintage style Omega logo on the dial and then carried it through to the crown, with a matte finish and even the pushers look rather unique with a concentric matte finish.

I think the only previous LE to use the vintage logo on the crown was the 50th anniversary coaxial 10 years ago.

Also! If you look at the image below you'll see a vintage Omega logo tang buckle on the leather strap, not sure if that comes with it but I'd love to have several of those.

BTW, what the hell is wrong with all of us? I'm in the middle of downsizing and when the first shiny, new LE thing pops up, I order one? I need therapy.

I believe that refers to the subdial design.

The darn thing looks F A B U L O U S on the pics, and simply strikes all the right chords for the enthusiasts' community, without looking "overdesigned".

Whoever masterminded that design together, with the marketing plan to boot, is genius...

I chose "other" (no OBs near here) and was informed an Omega Salesperson would contact me. In the summer of '17.

Received the e-mail this morning from my OB boutique in Rio/Brazil (hence the Portuguese below). Reserved mine with a low no., birth date year had already been chosen.

This is a brilliant move by Raynald. I could be wrong but I also think it might be a pre-emptive strike against the final version of this:

Does it matter what number to order? Is lower better or does it matter out of such a small amount?

I am still sorely tempted by the Heuer but I'd want to see it in the flesh now that this is reserved for me - the protoype bezel looks too fat to me. If they slim it down before release then it might be a close run thing.
