It would help if you could tell us where you read about AD's selling them to joe public, and which AD's they are. I'm sure Omega would like to know.

Can't remember now, I read alot of forums and if the ST gets mentioned I read it.

Had every st been delivered yet?
Impossible to say for sure unless Omega makes an announcement , but would expect so.

I got a few updates from Omega while on the wait list since day one (even while a vocal critic about the sub-dial number orientation), but heard only crickets since August 2017. I picked one up on OF this week, after selling my V-serial 3186 black Rolex Explorer II.

Well congrats then, very nice!

Hey Larry, you did not have that much more of a wait then the rest of us , but without the anxious fears 👍 😀

Speaking of bracelets, wow. Nice combination!
Can someone please help me guide me how to get without scratches the 1450/808 bracelet on the ST?!?

Hello forum! I joined the waitlist back in January 2017 just after it sold out and much to my surprise as I assumed all watches had been delivered a long time ago, got a call last week that a watch had become available. Picked it up today, very happy!

Only problem is that after missing out on the ST, I was determined not to miss out again and got a 60th anniversary LE in Spetember last year - and now have 2 LE Speedies!

In an ideal world I would have a Speedy and a Sub rather than 2 of the same but still, it's a nice problem to have for sure, is this what we call a 'first world problem'? 😁

1st off, a big congrats 👍 Looks like the wait-list does work 😀

Regarding your 1st-world dilemma... I absolutely love the "recognized" moonwatch (which means batons, 42mm professional case, etc.). While your 60th Speedy is a tribute to the very 1st Speedmaster, I find that it looks quite different and to me, they are not the same ... 🤔
38mm, broad-arrow / leaf, ss-colored bezel, faux patina lume, ... not the same, nope.

Having said that... a Submariner is even more different... 😜 In which case, you should choose the one you like most... makes sense, right? Resale value of the ST is very good; I have no idea about the 60th. My OB has the other two (Railmaster, Seamaster) in their showcase for weeks now, so I'm not sure if the Speedmaster is more sought after compared to the other two... .

In any event, I will keep my two Speedys - couldn't part with either one... 🥰

I was also on the wait list and got a call last week that one was available. Picked it up over the weekend. For those still waiting, looks like there are still some working their way through the system.

Congrats! As @Travelller pointed out, they are different. I’m in the same situation both 60:th & ST In the box. And to make matter worse a 105.012 as well...

I know. Me bragging about that actually qualify me as a candidate in a psychiatric clinic.... But its sure fun to be a bit mad!

Have a nice weekend all!

/P

I have the same lineup. Only not a 60th, but a 105.003 instead. And both the 105.003 and 105.012 are on stretch-link bracelets too. Even so, the wearing experience is quite different across the three of them - even if from head-on the 105.003 and 105.012 look very similar (the 105.012 has a narrow-T dial, so the only appreciable difference is the "Professional" text)
