So im a very lucky guy because I’ve got a 700ish number and received it 6 weeks ago.

I am above 1900 and got the email last Tuesday. One more week to go!

I decided to pass on my ST to the next on waiting list as I decided to go for LE Railmaster. So one more ST fan will soon get a good news!!!

Have you ever thought what you intend to do with PM is right? Is it proper to surpass the list maintained at Omega in such cases. I feel sorry that this hobby no longer seems to be a gentleman’s domain....

I'd be buying it for myself which is quite possibly better than it going to someone else who could very probably flip it.

 

But it would be gross injustice to the person waiting patiently in the official waiting list for his turn. I could have made few thousand quids fast but I chose to forgo that in favour of a genuine person on waiting list. You’re trying to scuttle his chance by jumping ahead with the PM from someone declining the watch...
And that is WRONG dear.

 

I'll let you go the "tit for tat" route. All I'll say is that Omega should have set up something on their site for payment in full or done it as they have with the Anniversary editions where people such as myself had to put money down in order to secure the watch.

 

They set up a reservation system for people where if you want the watch you reserved one.
Worked a treat for me. Say it would have worked the same for people such as yourself also.

There's a bulletin sent out to boutiques outlining lume inconsistencies on the subdials....make sure everyone checks their lume after charging in dark:

 

Picked mine up today.
The service in the Omega Boutique was fantastic but I can't help being underwhelmed by the watch.
The brown leather is awful, it feels more like plastic than leather.
It does feel easier to wind than than standard Speedmaster and it has nice touches including the applied logo but it overall is a meh from me.

 

Try it on a black strap, seems to be the best match for the dial and brushed case. I really don't like the brown strap either

 

I thought I was the only one. The pressed edges seem to contribute to the plastic appearance. Though, I’ve never held it to know if it actually feels like plastic or leather.

 

Not really sure how they could mess up the leather strap. I guess the prototype one on the strap is similar to the one offered. It’s almost like they trusted these out for order without really looking into the quality.
