Its started tanking already. Ebay bids were retracted. There is one on WUS and ebay awaiting offers, not moving. Buy it if you like the piece ! No other way to think about this one. Just my opinion .

Silver snoopy is an an anomaly, still trading at 14k usd.
I know of one that has been sold by a friend of mine and he got very good money which I will not discuss with on a open forum. But like he said not everyone will be selling them on EBay or watchfinder, he found a UK buyer who he met with and confirmed the watch was real and then the funds were put into his bank. Safe on both parties. The ones on EBay are not the way i would be looking to sell a watch. And I know the one that he sold was a good price.

Dear Speedy Tuesday Fan,
As you may have heard, Speedy Tuesdays are now being delivered.
Deliveries will be made throughout September.
The watches are being produced in small batches and in a random order so it is difficult for us to know when exactly your watch will be available.
In order to inform you ahead of time, we will be sending you an email as soon as your Speedy is leaving OMEGA. Taking into account shipping time it should give you a 2 to 3 weeks timeframe before you will be contacted to come and pick it up.
Once the watch has reached its final destination, you will be contacted by our local teams to come and collect it.
We remain at your disposal should you have any questions.

Gutting when you realise that the email from Omega isn't confirmation that your Speedy Tuesday is ready.

Couple of points, not all serious...

-If they aren't being made in numerical order it does beg the question - what order are they being made in? Are they delivering by boutique/geography etc?

-Have Omega overstretched themselves with a flurry of LE editions ( '57 triology, Seamaster Commander etc)

-Watch was meant to be delivered in the Summer. Note to Omega that Summer here in the UK finishes on 31st August!

I have just received the same e-mail. I don't see any need for concern at all. I'm all the happier if my ST is going to be made to the usual quality standards and not rushed through to meet an arbitrary delivery deadline. The original pitch did not include the promise of a specific delivery dates window and none of us can argue that we have to have receipt of the watch by a certain date as a matter of necessity. Relax!

We have been waiting for the ST since January. For me, another month or two will not make any difference.

i replied to Arthur saying I was in no rush, but i won't lie saying my heart didn't jump up to my throat when I saw that email. I guess I'll have to keep myself occupied with my other Speedys for now

I'm starting to think, like someone suggested before, order is based on piece reservation time. Some people reserved higher numbers perhaps before some others reserve lower numbers, that would explain my deliveries are all over.

Would be interesting to see if there is a pattern between time of reservation and delivery date. I reserved my 8xx at 7 am Atlantic time, no word as of yet.

I believe they are producing them in order by LE number. but those that don't meet QC standards gets mixed back into production. Hence, lower numbers getting out first.

I messaged Arthur earlier this week to ask for a very rough estimate (I'm high 4 figures), and got a very vague answer about delivery continuing into September.

Good to know, gives me even more time to sort funds. 😀

I've got the funds but worried about spending it.
