·I'd love to know if this is an HQ thing, or an OB/AD level thing.
Either way, I think it's a shitty way to treat customers - 10%, 20% sure.... 100%? Why do they need 100%?

It will be relevant. If you have to wait longer than its really necessary and all time have to read something about this random delivery bull***t, then this bad experience will always be a part of this watch. I think Omega is not on a good way with their delivery policy.
Picked mine up today....went straight on the Snoopy strap. The OEM straps went in the box, never to be see again 😀

Yes call them. As they don't know who the watch is for.
My watch turned up at AD and unless I called them they would not have known who it was for. It didn't come with a nsme or anything.
We discussed this and as he said nobody else would know it was there and what number they were picking up. You don't need any proof of who you are just need to know the number and were it is.
If Omega had not said June/July as the original release date then people would not have any expectations as to when they could expect delivery. As it stands, if they carry on at this rate, (obviously we don't know exactly how many have been delivered) but it seems like a few dozen every few weeks, it looks like November or December are not unlikely. Yes, I know there are lots of reasons why it can be difficult to be precise, but Omega have been making watches for over 150 years so they should have a realistic idea of how long it will take, even if they had said November I am sure it would have have still sold out and been just as popular.
To deal with the disappointing lack of pictures, here's some super limited edition #speedytuesday content.
Not for sale on eBay or anywhere else.
Is this the famous properly aligned Speedy caseback that many people aiming for? 😀
LOL. No... this one does have my name engraved onto it though. And is one of...30?

But otherwise, I mean, seriously?!? 😒
vorfreude ist die schönste freude...😉
I mean, c'mon, you can't be serious, right?!? Is this what the world in 2017 is about, that you will remember waiting for a long-desired, and promised (not that there's any risk you don't get it) top-notch watch as a bad experience? The only case when I could see this being justifiable is if you know you're sick and dying and the clock is ticking... But otherwise, I mean, seriously?!? 😒
I think I'm not the only one who gets a bit frustrated to see, that some "flippers" allready gets the watch and some of the true fans are not.
