·First one popped up for sale in my neighborhood, asking 7k € 😵💫. I'm not interested and not pursuing so no clue if it's legit but it looks like some are already cashing in on their Speedy tuesdays.....
assuming he paid 5300, that is still a 32% appreciation !

Agreed, and if a large number of those on the official reservation list are indeed short-term speculators/flippers, we may not see significant price appreciation as the initial wave of STs get delivered, due to some of these immediate cash-in plays. If this is the likely scenario, I suppose for those on the OF that missed out on reservations, now would be a good time to buy. I do think pricing will appreciate further in 2018, once all STs have been delivered.
What will determine the final price of course in the long term will be demand (how many thousands desperately want to own the ST) vs supply (2012 available). As I have stated before, I do think that Apollo 11 50th anniversary could turn out to be the ST's biggest competitor in the future, so my recommendation would be to either purchase the ST early in 2017 or wait till 2020.
I have no intention of flipping mine BTW, it' a keeper😀

·I've been thinking about flipping this for the Apollo-Soyuz meteorite dial... I'll wait and see how it is on the wrist though once it lands. You just never know with a watch you haven't seen in the flesh yet. It may well be a keeper!
