So maybe the so called random number production means, that the for Omega important customers, will get their ST first. If so, I'm the last one who gets the watch.....
Same. I have one speedy and bought it off a grey dealer so I can't be described as a VIP Have a low number on the speedy Tuesday (under 50) so was hoping selfishness it would be in number order haha.... patiently waiting I see some of these are going for over double the RRP already
What? You bought yours from a gray market dealer? Also where are you seeing/finding other STs for sale?
Sorry my post was worded wrong I bought my normal speedy from a grey dealer! Seen one for sale on Chrono24 for about £8900
Too right. Until it sells no price is ser. Could be like the ck2998 or could be like the snoopy. Who knows. Give it a few month. Time always tells.
I personally don't think it will reach snoopy territories, but it will probably sell over retail for a long while.
Pure speculation but I would say that short term raking for Speedy LE appreciation will be: 1. Snoopy (just in front) 2. ST (close second) ..... 3. XI-45 (distant third) I believe all of the above will sell above retail until 2019, when the Apollo 11 50th anniversary Speedy LE's will be launched, and that could be a real game changer in terms of Speedy LE pricing. I do think the long term appreciation of the ST will be essentially down to one factor...will Omega release another Speedy LE reverse panda dial in the future? If the ST retains its position as the only reverse panda, black dial Speedy, I think its appreciation will be pretty much guaranteed. I also think the XI-45 and Snoopy are so different in terms of looks that they have potential to retain value for many years to come.
