Can we all admit for the ones with reservations...watching the value go up is awesome?

It's not proven yet though is it? So far we've just seen one website put an astronomical figure on a watch they don't even have in their possession to sell yet.
I think the only true way for us to really know is for someone to stick theirs on eBay for 99p no reserve once they have it. Then we'll see a true market valuation (which will either result in people like Watchfinder licking their lips or crying into their coffee!)

Yes but the price curve of the CK2998 was a salutory lesson in "what goes up must come down"

Only the Silver Snoopy has bucked this trend in recent years due to it's perceived collectability, the STwill need to achieve a similar level of aspirational desire to mirror the all conquering Snoopy.

I'm sure we'll see one on the forums before ebay. Ebay is a ripoff for all sellers especially with watches.

I bet ebay watches will be at an even higher premium than the forums.

Well, actually I find the ST much more collectable from a design perspective! It is simply one of the most beautiful Speedmasters EVER!
This is not the case with the Snoopy (only my personal view). It is certainly a nice watch as well, with some interesting details and of course the "Snoopy-Tag", but optically it has not the "Bang" of an ST!

So, true; I am also curious where the prices go with the ST in the future!

What would have happened with the Daytona Paul Newman, if it would not be optically this attractive??? 😉

Based on all this, I am even more looking forward to the first actual deliveries taking place so we can start talking about the actual watches (and possibly sales transactions), rather than speculate about potential value.

To be quite honest, I am not that fuzzed on the value of the ST. I am very much looking forward to picking the watch up and as I have not heard anything about the delivery yet, my guess is I will have to wait quite a bit longer... In the meantime, I am looking forward to (unboxing) pictures. 😀

I just wanted to make a post on the 100th page, before it turns into 101. That's all.

What is your number? Two, three or 4 digits? Where will you pick it up?

Looks like the first one has turned up on TZ-UK in the Friday thread. Looks like it was specially made for fans of Newcastle United or Juventus.

Yep. I think that strap is too much. Mine will be staying put in the box* I think, the aftermarket Snoopy looks way nicer.

* I forgot, there is no box lol.

RJ did mention in his ST FAQ page on fratellowatches that this didn't mean anything 😉

You couldn't have said better. I agree too.
