Pretty watch keep up in mind it's 40mm. If you can try on a new speedmaster racing do it. They are basically the same size.

A professional is manual wind and 42mm. This forum tends to be very pro professional and less interested in the speedmaster dates.

Your buying used so it's not like the value will tank on you. At the end of the day it's your watch and your the one wearing it.

That's one of the prettier dates with that movement I've seen. That movement is pretty awesome also.

It's a great alternative to the Speedy Pro and Speedy Reduced! IMO Omega abandoned this part of the market. Want a dressy Speedy? You're pretty much left to buying pre-owned.

My personal favorite of this type of Speedy is the triple date 3523.80 with that crazy blue sunburst dial

@WatchVaultNYC thats an interesting way of looking at it. Reduced-date-racing line is all sporty now. I never thought of it that way.

Also is the blue one an MK40?

Blue is a day-date, colloquially a "triple-date", but I've never seen anyone use the term "Mark 40" for them. AFAIK 3520.50 Mark 40s come in black, painted logo, white hands and indices, black bezel inserts and are sportier as seen below:

some people also call this "Mark 40 Cosmos" but not sure how that came about..

Great watch and movement - no hesitation on buying one of these from me.

I have been eyeing this black triple calendar model for some time. Is it perpetual calendar? And is the case size 40 mm? If I am not mistaken the movement is automatic. (Is it?)

    Thank you for sharing.

Case size is 39mm. Automatic, but not even an annual calendar.

I like the Pro so much that it makes it hard for me to seriously consider any of the other models.

Have one and still love it (even after buying a SMP). Definitely has its place in a collection. Cheers!
