Details
Dial: Super clean and very attractive matte black dial is free of any blemishes. Lume on hour markers is intact, structurally sound and has aged to a gorgeous mustard hue.
Movement: Cal. 861 manual wind.
Case: HF (Huegenin Freres) case shows signs of wear commensurate with its age; it likely received a light polish in the past. Case shows strong lines and the brushed factory finish on top of the lugs is still present. Tachymetre bezel is in very good condition.
Bracelet: None
Crystal: Signed Omega Hesalite crystal.
Accessories: Watch only, no accessories.
Condition: This fresh-to-market, 1971 production year, Omega Speedmaster Ref. 145.022 has just received a complete movement overhaul courtesy of a WOSTEP trained / Omega (Swatch Group) authorized watchmaker. New OEM Omega dust cover. New OEM Omega winding crown. Original handset has been cleaned and the metal repainted as it was noticeably corroded. Missing and deteriorating lume on the chrono, minute and second hands was removed and replaced with new luminous paint. Back from the spa, this iconic Omega Speedmaster is ready to be fitted with a period correct bracelet (or strap) and worn & enjoyed for many, many years to come.
