A great resource, but not all sellers follow that guide, of course. Seems like asking prices are higher in many cases than this list. I think part of the issue is how to define a "good" example and how to define a "collector" example. Opinions will differ. Still, an excellent way to get an idea of general prices.

I refuse to believe it!

Next you'll be saying that some buyers are offering less than whats described in the price chart 😉

"Dealers dont use the chart"

Of course they don't. Well they do, but they tend to add their profit on.

The chart is for knowledgeable collectors passing watches between themselves.

Most sellers, and many inexperienced buyers, over estimate the quality of the watch, and if sold at a higher price it is going to a newb who is going to find it hard to sell on shortly after acquisition.

The chart is often criticized for being too low. But honestly I still see watches in these ranges, though it's true, rarely from a dealer or Auction house. These can cost roughly 30-50% more. Slightly galling for a buyer to see a very similar watch appear on eBay to the one he just bought at Christies......

Maybe I should just double all the prices on the chart. Then people could just say the price is 50% off list or 25% off list.....

OP is the original poster, or you, as far as I know.

How much is the watch? Maybe an easier starting point? People can tell you too high, just right, or buy it right now.....

Unless I've missed a previous post where you explain this, it probably would've helped if you'd announced this at the start of the thread. To me, it read as though you were considering buying the watch.

Members are required to have 200 posts before they can sell a watch on this forum, unless they have sufficient evidence/references to allow the mods to remove that obstacle. Listing pictures and asking for a best price might be seen as trying to find a way around that rule, which is kinda frowned upon.

Do you have a specific attachment to the watch? If it's simply an object you want to sell, a no reserve eBay auction would be the best option for you and your buyer. You're unlikely to get any great offers here as you're an unknown member and a buyer will have no recourse against you. EBay helps with this, so sticking it in an auction is the best way to find it's level. These are sought after watches and you won't get robbed.

My opinion is this would probably fall just under 'running' on SP101 as it looks generally correct, but doesn't have a attractive look overall, and it appears a large amount of the lume is missing. Then again, that might be just the photos? If the lume is present, I'd probably put it at just above running on the chart

Sorry. I earlier did one link. And had some pictures on it. Then I started a new (this) link. Sorry. Not easy to know. No this one is mine and I will sell it. I know I need 200 posts before I sell it. But I will use a Swedish Watch site to sell it on. So I will not SELL ON THIS SITE. Just wanne see international priceing for this one. I will not sell on Ebay either. I just wanted to have an International cirka price for it. im new with watches. And dont know that much yet. We are all good on diffrent things. But all prices I got for the watch is a bit floating. All I wanted were an pointing price...But I will seek on By my self.

Ok thanks for clarifying.

So what's the story with the lume on the hour markers? Are they just white, or do they have a faint yellow paint on top of the White? If the lume is present, if you take the watch into a dark room and hit it with the camera flash on your phone, any luminous material should glow faintly for 30 seconds or so. The presence/absence of lume will affect the price.

The more I look at it, the more I think in the current market it may creep slightly higher than my first estimate.

On ebay I think you'd probably get around 4500US. Slightly less if there's no lume, possibly slightly more if the dial is better than the pics.
