Thats a great looking example, for information STS in the UK can now replace the bezel inserts in these

Thank you, Tom! Didn't know that. I thought the bezel was an integrated part of the glass with the letters printed on the backside - and that you had to change it all? Will definitely contact STS.

No the bezel is the separate to the glass, the foil is also separate to the crystal and usually marks that appear on the crystal is simply dirt between that and the foil

Sounds great. Thanks so much for sharing your expertise here. I will get in touch with STS and have them quote a price for a change of the bezel insert. Do you by chance know what I should expect to pay?

Super fast reply from STS regarding the bezel insert:

Thank you for your email, unfortunately, due to problems with the production process involved, we are not able to offer this service at the current time, I am sorry that I cannot be of assistance, please let me know if there is anything else that I can do to help.

I have asked them if they're working towards being able to offer this service again.

Oh thats a shame, I had seen one they had had made but perhaps it was a one off, worth a try

I sent the watch down to STS early this week to have it check out and a quick health check, all appears good, so tomorrow I will be paying them a face to face visit to collect this little gem plus a few other special treasures............................. 😉
