DESCRIPTION
Here is an excellent example of the much sought-after Speedmaster Professional Japan Racing dial variant.
In 2004, Omega produced a limited number of 2004 Speedmaster Professional (ref. 3570.40.00) watches with a racing dial. Compared to the original 145.012 with racing dial, the hands are ‘inverted’. The hour and minute hands are orange of the Japanese model, as where the original model’s hour and minute hands are white and the chronograph hand is orange. The same goes for the hands of the chronograph subregisters.
As I did not have the warranty card to verify whether this piece had a dial swap or not, I contacted Omega directly with the watch's serial number and they got back to me confirming that it is indeed a 3570.40 - the real deal! (this can also be verified at the Omega boutique of your choosing)
This watch comes with a 10 month warranty against any mechanical defects, which I am happy to extend to the next buyer. It is in excellent condition, as evidenced by the photographs - no dings to the bezel, crystal also very nice and case in great shape indeed.
On sale at $3600, which includes paypal fees and shipping worldwide. (shipping is via INSURED EMS courier - equivalent to DHL/UPS etc).
Shipping completes in 3 to 4 days to most US states, ~5 days to EU. Other countries please ask for details.
