·Omega Speedmaster Professional, 3570-40, 2004 ‘Japan Racing’ limited edition chronograph in excellent + condition, with outer white box, red leatherette box, instructions book, cards holder and hangtag. Watch is on a Hirsch ‘Robby’ sailcloth strap, but also supplied is the original (I presume), and apparently unworn, Omega 1998/849 bracelet.
As there has been some debate about the type of box used for this model, I have both the red leatherette type and the red wood (NOS) version available. Price below is for the watch with the leatherette box – if the wood version is preferred, I will supply this instead for an additional £40.
I am also aware of the availability of kits to ‘convert’ standard 3570-50s with a ‘Racing’ dial and hands. Prior to my purchase of this watch (in 2016) I took the precaution, with reference to the serial number, of obtaining written confirmation from Omega that this watch was manufactured as a 3570-40 – copy e-mail illustrated below and supplied with the watch.
I will accept prior payment by bank transfer and would favour a transaction within the UK, (I am in South East England). However, I could be willing to ship from the UK internationally via a reliable service such as DHL Express at buyer’s expense.
I have worn the watch just once since my purchase, (for the attached photograph), but have wound it monthly – the photographs will, I trust, show that it is in ‘as new’ cosmetic condition. I am a private watch collector and as such would not be in a position to accept any return.
I have not sold on here previously, so regret that I cannot provide any buyer’s feedback references. I can however assure anyone interested in this watch of my wish and intention to facilitate a fair and honest transaction. Price is £12,000 exclusive of shipping/insurance.
