I am a new guy for Omega watch. Would someone give me a suggest how to choose good speedmaster professional 145.012 ?

    From internet, I could see the price range USD$ 8,500 - 14,800.

    Any suggestion to choose ?

Post here those you have "selected" and by exposing first what you see/observe on those watches then it will be easier to answer ;)

    Plenty of research before buying.

Purchasing Moonwatch Only (currently in 2nd Edition) will help you zero in on which Speedie reference is best for you. Will also pay for itself immediately in helping you to avoid costly mistakes.

What draws you to the 145.012 as opposed to a newer moonwatch?

Other posters have offered great advice above, there's a great experienced ahead, if you really want to get into it.

As a starter question I'd ask 'why that specific model?'

In the absence of an answer from the OP, as an owner of one, I would venture that reasons why 145.012s are worth seeking out include the fact that it is the cheapest way to get into the classic 321 Speedmaster. You are also guaranteed to own a model which is truly Pre-Moon in that it will have been produced before the Apollo 11 landing, and along with the earlier 105.012 is actually the model used on that and other Space missions of the era. Collins Speedmaster was a 145.012 after all.

Agree - these are the very reasons that, at a future point, I will like to own one - but I'm not certain I agree that there's a way to own that type of pedigree cheaply. :)

It's a heck of a way to start getting into Speedies!
I wish the OP the best with their search!!

The determining factors behind the pricing spread would be originality of parts (movement, dial, case, hands, bezel, crown and pushers, etc.) and condition of said parts.

Other things may affect the price to a lesser extent such as whether the watch comes with a period-correct bracelet, boxes/papers and maybe an Omega extract.

From what you've learnt so far, what are your thoughts on the watches you've linked?

You may also want to post pictures of the watches, not just the links.

As David alludes to above, you need to do your homework. Of the 3 you link, 2 have later replacement bezels knocking several thousand $ from their value, 2 have later replacement bracelets worth much less than those fitted originally 67-68, though a bracelet isn’t compulsory. One looks like a relume and 2 have pics so over exposed and photoshopped that you can’t tell if the hands are original or not. I wouldn’t touch any of those to be honest.

    Watch 1:
    Dial - Repaint
Watch movement - it looks like number is on 145.012 range.

Let me know whether my finding is correct. Any missing items which I need to know.

    Thank you for your tips.

I think the dial is not repainted but simply "washed" of its entire luminous material.
Correct step dial with AML (applied metal logo) and long indexes.
The bezel is a quite nice DON (even if worn).

Few little points which I found on watch:
    - Dot is Next to the 90
    - Accent on the TACHYMETRE
    T SWISS MADE T

May I correct: the bezel has a dot OVER the 90 (commonly called DON).
