Try winding a vintage Constellation with a decagonal crown and you’ll quickly realize what a pleasure it is to wind a Speedmaster.
Ain't that the truth 😁

Thanks for so many replies
I follow some guidence and did not wind the watch for two days
The outcome, after two days winding was super smooth
I did only 25 turn without any resistance and this is what I plan to do every day
Thanks again for your support

Just keep in mind that the watch won't be fully wound so it won't be as accurate as it could be😉

I have had my 3861 moonwatch hesalite for a couple of months now. I've worn it almost exclusively every day since, I wind every morning and it certainly is not painful to wind, in fact its a pleasure, light resistance and a smooth action.
Same for me

I was wondering what everyone is getting from a full wind. Do you get 50 hours has advertised or are you getting less. I feel I'm not getting 50hrs

My Speedy is two months old it lasts far less than 50 hours on a full wind more closer to 30 hours.

I've fully wound my Snoopy 50 Friday afternoon and not pick it up again until Monday morning without an issue.

So I should force the crown to wind beyond the point when it stops?
If you wind it until a full stop, ie can't turn the crown anymore, it's fully wound and you should get around 60 hours of run time. If you are getting less than that you aren't hitting the full stop point.

Thank you for your response and advice. I am winding my watch until the crown can no longer turn and stops. It will only run for approximately 30 hours. Perhaps I will bring my Speedy to the Omega Boutique where I purchased it.

If that is what is happening then something is wrong with it. Take it to the OB.

Thank you all. Given it's practically new, I'm going to bring it to the OB. I noticed the issue a few weeks ago and thought I should have it checked out. I'll let you folks know the outcome.

Similar to alternative facts we don't care about feelings, we want the truth.::rimshot::
Did you perform a live test?😗

I checked mine without chrono activation ~ 66 hours
Okay now I'm officially jealous or should I say envious! 😁

When I got this from the OB, was stiff and hard to wind. After a week of normal wear and daily winding, it's smooth. As for the hours on a full wind test, want to say it was in the mid 50's, but can't say for sure off hand. Need to do the test again when I get one of my other watches out of the bank vault.

I have two now, the new white one and a hesalite. The white one at two months old is back at omega because it ran less and less and I gave up and shipped it back when it stopped after 8 hours. I bought a new hesalite one to wear while it's gone, got it yesterday. It ran only 15 hours on a full wind. Both "passed" the master chronometer and say they went over 50 hours. And when they stop they only take about 30 turns, not the full 82.5. I'm losing confidence in Omega now. These are my 6th and 7th Omegas.
Edit to reply, I am winding them until I feel the stop and no more.
Another edit, Omega did find a problem with it and are repairing. The Hesalite now runs 60 hours on a full winding.
