Just had the pleasure of examining the new blue ceramic moon phase with an Adventurine dial... MESMERIZING!!!

The depth and sparkle give the feeling of staring into space on a starry night, the inclusions sparkle with bright intensity and the combination of dark blue ceramic and Sedna rose gold details are beyond description.

But my words and photos can not do justice, while these are still rare in boutiques I reccommend trying to track one down to look at.

That's pretty cool. The sparkles show up pretty well in the pictures, so I'm sure in person it looks even better in person.

I got the opportunity to see this in person at the Waikiki Omega Boutique. It is such a beautiful watch and that photo only partially does it justice. I was trying to decide between that one and the Grey SOTM Meteorite. I did not purchase either...

I cant believe they have done this! I had my 1974 Constellation MQ with the aventurine dial at an Omega do some months ago. Was talking to the US head of sales and said I thought a Speedmaster would be AMAZING with this dial config. And now they have done it.

    I thank you....

    Adventurine? It should be Aventurine.

Nice dial but too flashy - blue ceramic case, elements in gold. It is too much for me. I would rather prefer Professional iteration with aventurine dial - 311.33.44.32.01.001. Though its subdials are not in aventurine execution.

Just got mine from shipped from the OB ... it's really beautiful and IMO not too flashy.
The blue case matches nicely with the strap and reads as dark, almost navy.
The gold details aren't over the top, and indoors it's subtle.
It's really only in bright light that the dial comes alive and sparkles.

I had been back and forth about the earlier moon phase with aventurine.
I didn't love the larger case with 861 dial spacing. That watch looked cramped to me.
And the moon phase at 12 left it under the chino hand too often.

This calibre 9904 movement nails spacing and layout.

Went to one of the AD and tried them on Looks great would say sort of unique piece moonphase bcoz of the dial and that aventurine dial is so cool looks like you have universe on your wrist. But I love my normal blue version bcoz of that moonboot print is very historical and perfect with 60th anniversary of speedmaster moonwatch.

Just saw this timepiece at the boutique after wanting it for many months.

My God, you've got to see the dial in person to truly appreciate how damn beautiful it is!

You can see how the dial sparkles, almost like stars on a darkened night. I think I may end up buying this from either the OB or an AD/Grey once my previous watch sales proceedings come through.

All the photos on here, although they are of excellent quality in my opinion don't do the dial justice. (Neither does mine for that matter; go and see it for yourself!)
I've tried to get a closer image of the dial in the light to highlight the twinkle and various colours of the inclusions in the Aventurine.

Im just wondering if the “metallic disc” where omega printed the moonphase is actually an eventurine material.

According to the Omega website this watch is no longer available. Don't know if the edition was small and sold out, or if it is just a temporary unavailability.

Probably unavailable, the dial is ridiculously difficult to produce since it's basically a thin slice of crystal.
