Here comes the next questions. My Seamaster 165.014 is now in the bankbox. So its time to enyoy another nice watch. I did som service on it e few years ago. Including new crystal and hands. Now to my question, was that a misstake? Lucky i saved the old ones....

    Question 2
Does omega provide the amount of produced watches of each model?

No, not really, as you have the original hands still, which from the photo, look way past their best so i can see why they were swapped over ( and the long chrono hand looks wrong anyway, to me at least)

IMHO, I think it's a matter of taste, there are people who like a watch that shows the signs of the passage of time and there are those who like old ones with a touch of updating. In my case, I have a couple of speedmasters that have been overhauled by Omega and they look amazing.

The mineral crystal was very easy to scratch, I see no issue in replacing the crystal for a new one if the old one was beat up and scratched.
