Omega Speedmaster Mark II strange case number. Telestop?

Hello all. I am in need of a Tachymeter crystal for my Mark II with case number 146.037. I had no idea that there were two different crystals for the Mark II until I discovered that I had ordered the wrong one. I can’t find a single listing for a Speedmaster Mark II with these case numbers much less a crystal. The only Omega that matches the case number is the very strange, possibly prototype, Speedmaster Mark II Telestop model. It had large threaded tubes behind the overly extended pushers to use a cable release to accurate the pushers. My watch doesn’t have the extra long pushers or the threaded tubes. Please help!

It looks like the threaded tubes may have been removed..

Maybe the owner installed regular pusher at one moment , now original pusher cost a fortune Omega as 0 in stock, glass are in stock at the moment .

Nice watch and rare don’t hesitate too long

    I’ve never seen a Telestop
I am ready and willing to buy the crystal. I don’t know where to purchase one. There are zero posted on eBay or Google search. I called Otto Frei in California. They don’t have one either. I am still not convinced that this case was ever drilled to receive the threaded pushers. Where would they screw into? The case holes are the exact size of the current pushers.

Wow! That’s a nice one. The pushers look perfect too.

I was curious when I read this thread a while back so I looked up the pushers for the Telestop model - 086ST0026.

Not sure where the information came from that Omega no longer has these pushers, but I ordered a couple to take a look at them in detail, because I wondered if they looked the same as the other photos posted - they do:

So the pushers has a slightly longer body on it, and the threaded ring is simply held in place by the pusher when the pusher is threaded into the case. Pretty simple system.

    Cheers, Al

I found a complete case a couple of weeks ago , with regular pusher also , but Omega will fit Original pusher during the service , looks like people don’t like the long pushers.

I was able to finally source the crystal, crystal ring, and correct Telestop pushers for my Mark II. The watchmaker is going ahead with a service on the watch too since I’m already in so deep! I hope to get it back within the next couple weeks. Now I’m just bracing for my repair bill!
