I am selling an Omega Speedmaster Mark 4.5, reference 176.0012, with a caliber 1045. It comes with a 1162/172 bracelet, which is correct for the reference. I've had it for almost 6 months and at the time I really liked the idea of wearing it, but I've come to like smaller watches, especially in height.

No box or papers are included in the sale. Just the watch and the bracelet.

    Reference: 176.0012
    Movement: Cal. 1045 (Lemania 5100), 17 Jewels, 48h reserve, 28800 bph
    Year of production: 1976
Width: 42mm (without crown), 44mm (with crown)
    Lug to lug: 45mm
    Thickness: 15mm
    Lug width: 21mm
Bracelet: Omega 1162 with 172 end links

    Price
Price is €2,000 €1,700 net to me. I accept: Bank Transfer, Payoneer, or PayPal (Friends and Family).

    Shipping
I am located in Tirana, Albania (not a member of the EU). Shipping worldwide with DHL, which should cost between €30-€50 depending on location. Watch will be shipped within 2 working days after payment is cleared. Will be able to help minimize import taxes on request.

    Returns
No returns unless the watch is grossly misrepresented.

    Feedback
I've been a relatively active member since September 2023, have introduced myself, and have bought a couple of things. I can provide any form of identification that suits you: ID, LinkedIn profile, Facebook, etc. Here's my reviews as a seller.

    Condition
The following is me doing my best to describe what I see with the watch in hand, looking at the close up photos, and inspecting it under a 12x loupe. I'll cover any defect I can see, but please also inspect the photos yourself and let me know if you have any questions.

Dial is practically spotless. Can't see any mark or imperfection even under very close inspection. Lume pots are intact but show slight yellowing and browning. Lume on the hour hand and 24h indicator looks great. On the minute hand it has aged into a very dark brown. Mineral crystal, which also includes the tachymeter, looks great without any scratches. Day indicator is in German.

Case has scratches and little dents all around. It's not a museum piece, so it would be a great daily wearer. Top of the case has the original sunburst finish, and considering the general shape, I don't think it has been polished. Crown and pushers I believe to be original to the watch.

Case back has some idiot marks, because the world will never be free of idiots. The Seamaster writing is actually correct for the watch and if you're interested, here's a little more information.

Movement looks decently clean considering its age. The automatic reduction gear (a gear with 6 inner holes visible in the photos) seems to have a rust patina. I consulted with my watchmaker and he advised that it's only superficial tarnish that doesn't effect function in any way. Don't quote me on that though because I'm not a watchmaker. The wheel, should you decide to change, should cost $30/40 on eBay.

Testing it on a timegrapher app on an Android device, it shows -15 s/d with 2.5ms beat error dial up, and +7 s/d with 2.3ms beat error dial down. I doubt those are terribly accurate, but at least may show a general trend.

All functions work correctly. Chronograph starts, stops, and resets correctly. Day and date work automatically or via the quick set functions on the crown. Day and night indicator also works.

Service history is unknown and it hasn't been serviced while in my possession.

Bracelet has signs of use and is flexy. Apart from being used for the past few decades, I believe these had flex even brand new. It wears great on my 19cm (7.5") wrist and has 2 extra positions on the clasp. I believe it should fit wrists of 19.5 - 20cm.

Finally this is how it looks on my 19 cm wrist.

Let's try €1,800. It's a watch in honest condition with a good price imo.

Let's try €1,700, which is as low as I can go. If that's not a bargain, I don't know what is.
