    Hello everybody

I'm a new member here and looking to buy my first watch and omega for my colection. I'm buying an Omega speedmaster 3511.80.

On the pictures you can see that the tachymetre is in blue letters, but on internet I can't find anything in blue letters or does this just an issue with lighting.

    Thank you in advance!

Maybe the seller preferred blue to match the dial so removed the black lacquer and re-painted it with blue.
    It's a pretty straightforward job.

But when I want to sell it in a couple of years and I now paint it black. Will the seller be annoyed if I painted them back.

Would you be selling to the same person? Once you bought it it’s yours, paint it pink if you wish.

I wouldn't buy this piece if you're thinking of flipping / making profit once you sell it.
    What is the asking price?

Unless it's dirt cheap, buy a correct one. It's not like they're hens teeth.

I like the blue, it’s different.

Just paint it black if you want to sell it down the line, though it probably wouldn’t make much difference to the price...

It's 1450 euro with original boxes, manuals but without the paper. I'm thinking about instead buying a seamaster 300m for 1650 euro with original box and paper.
