I don't know exactly what period these ran between but I always think they look very typical 80's. Can never quite make up my mind if I like them or not but at least they're distinctive of their era, something that IMO is difficult to say about most watch designs since the 70's.

I purchased a teutonic recently out of Germany and so far I have enjoyed my time with it. I have found that the watch and bracelet wear very comfortably. I really like the silver colored dial and the black hands on this specific model. A unique watch and an excellent value at current prices. I just wish there were some replacement bezels out there for these!

Surprisingly, I bought a NOS steel one on eBay recently (seller’s photo below). Now I need to find a gold one!

Hey @bama2141, not trying to rain on your parade, and wanting to be educated here.....have you tried this bezel on a watch? On my two and as shown on this cropped shot of Matty01's watch there is a flat section of the bezel between the sloped part where the numbers are and where the bezel sits next to the crystal. May just be the seller's photo but......

The flat area is actually a separate part. If you examine the watch carefully you can see the seam between the parts. Not very visible in the photos though.

You can see it in Ashman’s photo from above if you look carefully, especially on the right side of the photo.

I’d also mention that the bezel for the 861 equipped model is different from the one for the 1045 equipped MkV in your photo. When I bought my bezel the seller made it plain that it wouldn’t fit on the MkV.

tolerances on mine are a little tighter:). To naked eye looks all the way round more like the pic I posted above. With the loupe though there is a visible line ?<0.1mm?. Thanks!
