    I have an Omega Speedmaster number 19832558 with alpha hands , bought in 1962 , does anyone know how much it may be worth please.

    That's a beauty. Have you removed the case back to confirm it's a 2998. There is a possibility it's a 105.002 with that reference number.

    It may be worthwhile waiting until the extract service is back up and request a cert from Omega.

    Either way - that looks lovely to my eyes. More pics please!

    Pushers and crown have been changed and the dial possibly scraped clean of lume, possibly because it may have been Radium originally. Pity.

    It's a nice and valuable watch but the loss of lume unfortunately removes much of the vintage appeal.

    Sp101 only gives a realistic valuation if people are realistic in assessing the condition of a watch. We know this frequently isn't the case when people are looking to sell.

    Good point. But there is a lot of detail in that resource to help you assess the condition of a watch properly. Seller premium, buyer's beware!

    Is the lume scraped, or just very pale?
