    Dear All!

    I looking for some help. I got a Omega Speedmaster C hronograph 18k gold. In the back side there are a very interesting hand writing graven. I need to find information about that. Who have any information?

    That's a very special watch, you have there! :)

    The engraving is probably a mark made by a watchmaker who have serviced it.

    Yes i think maybe, but the date is missing. This is why i think its a different.

    Watchmaker's use all sorts of codes after repairing a watch. The date may be embedded in the writing.

    +1 Watchmaker's mark. Surprisingly, once I took a watch to my trusted local watchmaker to have gaskets replaced. He saw the markings on the caseback and knew exactly who it was that serviced it previously =) It's like their signature/branding

    One watchmaker I have used puts a file number, not date. I think I can see a 72 there?

    72 mark on a 2006 watch. May be something else to it ???
    What happened in 72 ?
    Someone's name, any astronaut with similar letters........

    It's just a service mark - can be a job number or something where the date is not readily apparent just by looking at it.
