    Needless to mention that this book shows clear evidence that, by May 1962, Mercury astronauts Walter "Wally" Schirra, Leroy "Gordo" Cooper and NASA astronaut chief Donald "Deke" Slayton had a personal Omega Speedmaster chronograph...
    Although mentioned here & there in a few webpages, was never so clear in print with rare NASA photos to proof it very clearly ::book::

    Arrived yesterday. Just had a quick flick through and looks a fascinating read, not only for fans of the watch but Space geeks in general. Some great photos and old advertisements.

    Like others, I tried every which way from Sunday to download a soft copy of this book from issuu.com, only to be thwarted and left frustrated in the end... I too ordered the softcover book, and all is forgiven, its very well done, and worth the price for any Speedy, space, or more specifically Apollo-Soyuz fan-boi like me.

    It's not a DeAgostini publication with scale model parts... ::book::
