Omega Speedmaster Professional
Reference: 3590.50
Serial # 48,32X,XXX
Caliber: 861 – 18 jewels
Dial: Type C5 - short S
Bezel: Type B5 – dot beneath 70
Bracelet: 1479/812
Aesthetic Condition: No major scratches or gouges in/on the Omega signed Hesalite crystal. The hour markers on the dial have developed a beautiful patina. The tritium in the hands shows a bit of lume loss (not uncommon for neo-vintage 3590-series Speedmaster). The case is in very nice condition for it’s age with very sharp lines as the surface transitions from brushed to high polished finish. No dings or dents in the case, just some small hairlines consistent with frequent wear. There are 2 dings in the bezel at the 73 & 97 tachymetre markers, please see the pictures that I’ve posted, as they accurately depict the appearance of the dings. Caseback metal is in nice condition, no signs of any caseback tool slippage/scratches. The enamel in the letters on the caseback is exhibiting some fade. The bracelet is in nice condition as well, no major scratches on the links or clasp, very little sag when held horizontally. I have included pictures below in direct and indirect sunlight to help accurately show the condition.
Mechanical Condition: Once wound and set down for 24 hours, the watch deviates from my quartz stopwatch by approximately 5 seconds (slow) per 24 hours. The chronograph starts, stops, and resets to "0". It's difficult to see without a loupe, but the chrono hand does appear to reset ever so slightly to the right of dead center.
Fitment: will comfortably fit a 7.5” wrist.
Box & Card: No box, no cards included

I have one other reference, who has kindly asked that I keep the details of our sale private, but said I can provide his name to a potential buyer if they would like feedback on me as a seller.

Thank you for looking, and thank you to the OF admins for maintaining this great community for us.

Always liked this reference. They tend to patinate beautifully.

Agreed. They age nicely, and the 1479 bracelet is a favorite of mine for an older tritium reference Speedy.
