Hi Andrea,

Its indeed different from mine, which I believe is the same generation, i.e. produced between ‘96 and ‘98.

Do you have a movement number of yours? (It should be engraved on the back of the lower left lug)

I am the same guy of claustro , I managed to recover my original account.
I am pretty sure that my bezel is an aftermarket part.
my serial is 483736.. and was bought on March 98.

I found this bezel on the internet it seems like the one on your watch. Could be a good substitute?

Welcome back! 😀

Based on the serial you’ve shared, I would indeed expect the same bezel on your Speedmaster as the one I’ve shared above. I’d need to have a closer look at yours to establish whether it’s original.

I’ll check.

Just double checked and I am afraid you're right; the bezel that's current on your watch does not seem to be original. The combination of Tachymètre (note the accent!) and the dot next to 70 (rather than underneath it) is something I've never observed with original bezels... I'd say it's a fake.

The bezel you have found as an original spare on the internet appears to be original and would be the correct execution for your watch (1995 - 2004).

Thank you very much for your reply.
The seller of that ring asks 240 euro, it seems to me on the overpriced side but I am not an expert. Do you know if this is a fair price?
