Hi all, I am relatively new to the world of Omega watches and have been recently looking in the market for a good vintage/second hand Speedy.

I came across this listing, for a Speedmaster with blood-red dial and gold accents: https://www.chrono24.co.uk/omega/om...aph-351161-marui-ltd-serviced--id20590870.htm

What I find puzzling is that I can't seem to find any information at all about this watch online. Other models similar to it, such as 3511.50 and 3711.80, have plenty of discussion about them in the forums, but this one does not.

As far as I can tell, this model was only sold in Japan and does not appear to have been limited in number.
I am wondering if anybody knows anything else about this watch. Is it rare or desirable? Is it even genuine? Would this make for a good buy at this price?

I appreciate any help 😀

Hello

This watch was sold exclusively at a department store in Japan called Marui.
There was also a panda model (3510.21 3539.31) and a white dial model (3510.20) that were similar Marui exclusive watches.

When I saw the photo on Chrono24, I noticed that the Jeweler of International Warranty is not Marui Department Store but Hankyu Department Store.
This is a Marui Department Store Limited Edition, so normally the Jeweler should be Marui Department Store.
I don't know if Marui Department Store and Hankyu Department Store had a partnership at the time this watch was sold. Sorry...

Here is a link to the current listing on Yahoo Auctions in Japan and a link to the successful bid.

I have one with light blue dial (3511.80). Nice watch, I have to say. The size is smaller that a "pure" Speedmaster (I also have one), but it's ok. Nice deep red color!
