So hard the get the beauty of the dial on the Picture.
In real the dial is so deep black the white hands pops like I never seen before at any watch.

Congrats, easily one of my favorite speedys, I put it on a Apollo 50th Ann. flatlink bracelet and it works very well because this reference is I believe the thinnest 42mm speedmaster out there and the flat link thinness works very well with it.

I also added the spiralwinder ceramic bezel that has the white lumed text which complements both the dial and text very well. the good thing is the mod is easily reversible, you can see my installation thread below,

It’s my favorite Speedy by a mile.
Classy easy to wear. Very thin.
It’s a dresswatch and sport at the same time.
42 mm my sweat spot for my size.
The movement is a piece of art.
After being the black sheep in the Omega familie it became an very interesting familie member

I love mine! But unfortunately it needs to go in for a service and I probably won't see it for a few months... The dial is great and the thinness are the 2 most noticable attributes that set this watch apart for me on a daily wear. I was going to try to find a 321 but the thinness and black dial with the high visibility hands was what sold me. BTW, I notice in every picture I take the lume on the hands looks "off white" but by my eye it is very white - strange...

How much does a service for this watch cost? More than a regular Speedmaster Professional?

I was quoted $1,000.

Exactly the same cost as the Lemania based models at most places. Some Indys may charge slightly less for a non coax model like the 1861 vs the coax 3313 or 3201 but most don't differentiate. These aren't awkward to keep healthy unlike the piggyback stuff used in the Reduced and Dynamic III chrono.

So can someone tell me, does the Omega 3201 movement in this watch have a slip clutch so that you cannot overwind it or is it possible to overwind it and break the mainspring?

There is no slipping bridle, so it will come to a full stop, which is when you should stop winding it.

I would be curious to know of any manual wind watch that has a slip bridle like the auto movements use. I've never known of one but I guess with a movement like this originally designed as an auto it could be possible. Why would you though? You'd never know when you had achieved full wind.

Could this be the case for the El Primero cal 420 movement in the Zenith Prime?
