Hi Joachim,

It's very strange that your watch serial starts with a 0. From what I understand, and based off the rough time frame this watch was in production, it should have a 3 or 4 at the start of its 8 digit serial number.

It's also interesting that the number 55 is obscured by the 24 hr time ring, that the font used within the 24hr time ring is different from the rest of the numeric fonts used on the watch, and that the Omega logo isn't justified left in relation to the date window as most 176.016 are.

Sorry I can't be of more help. Perhaps someone more knowledgeable than I will chime in.
