    Hello folks,

I'm currently contemplating buying a Speedy Pro from the 70's.
I have been wearing 36mm-40mm watches so far and would love to see some pics
of Speedys being worn by people with wrists below 7inch, before I go out trying them out myself.

My wrist is about 6.8inch and I wonder if the Speedy will look to bulky.

If you can find the time to take a shot, I'd gladly appreciate it!

    Regards
    M

Self taken wrist shots are deceiving because they are almost always distorted due to the closeness of the lense. You're better off Google imaging. I have an 8" wrist so little I can do to help, but because of the perfect design of the speedy I can tell you i have not seen it look "off" on any size wrist. I am being honest, it's an icon of design for a reason.

It's a great looking watch. The NATO leather strap is what I currently have it on, it does make the whole thing a little bulkier, although the dial itself is well balanced. Love it on steel too but I don't have pics of it. It's a great looking watch. I do have a good size wrist for watches though, funny thing is my brothers and fathers wrist was larger than mine. this is the 45.5 PO on my wrist. With the metal bracelet it looks a little bulkier. It also helps to pull off those panerai ...:)

    Appreciated!
I've tried a 145.022 and even though it's quite large, it sits comfortably.

Thank you guys for posting those pics!
    I really appreciate it!

I think it will look a bit different on my wrist even, as I wear my watches extreme loosely on metal bracelets.
Therefore they sit closer to the back of my hand then my arm actually.

A perfect excuse to visit a Omega store and have a look. Remember that if you're used to smaller watches, it can take some time to get used to a different size. When I switch from a Pie Pan or something similar to the Seamaster 200 "SHOM", it get this funny feeling of wearing a brick.

I find the Speedmaster to wear smaller that it's size if you see what I mean. I doesn't feel like 42mm. I have 7.25" wrists and I fits perfectly. You always have the Speedmaster reduced if the Professional feels too big.

My wrist is a little over 7 inches. Here are two photos of my '68 145.022, on the bracelet and on the Omega alligator strap.
