Hello everyone,
my name is Emanuele, I live in Italy and, like all of you, I am a watch enthusiast.
I'm considering buying an Omega Speedmaster 145.022.74 ST.
In the evaluation phase, however, I think I have found an inconsistency, the serial number of the movement begins with 27, which suggests, based on the news found on the net, that the movement itself is prior to the production date of the case.
The case is from 1974, the movement from around 1968.
I'd like to have your opinion on this, to know if I'm wrong or not.
Is it possible that they replaced the caseback or fitted an older movement to a newer case?
Thanks in advance to whoever will/can help me and sorry for my english, which is far from perfect

Some -74’s have ‘early’ movements that would be more expected in a -69. However, these are in the 31-32m range.
27m is far too early, more consistent with a -68 and imo there’s no way it’s original to a -74.

Sure, I'll post them right away.
The photos are not of good quality but they are the only ones I have, taken directly from the seller's advertisement

The quality of the photos is bad and the resolution is even worse when I posted them here on the forum, but the serial starts with 277
