·Just posting this for bragging….
Bought this 321 on eBay for restoration. It’s been a battle of science and skill here… tiny alignments, chrono finger adjustments, beat error, missing hour hammer, and a stem/case geometry issue from a previous botched service. In fact, this watch is the most challenging job I’ve ever attempted. But proud to report that I’ve got it running to near perfection.
Vintage hands, period correct (likely original) DNN bezel (it’s a 67 transition, so Omega did this on occasion on the last 321s). Almost flawless (FLAWLESS) dial.
The patina tells a story, so I’m not polishing it any more than just a light cosmetic buff. But each pit and scratch looks like a well worn and well cared for piece of history.
