I think most collectors believe their watches to be excellent to near mint condition and I don’t think I am an exception. So, I decided to grade my watch using “speedmaster101” and hope I was not too bias. I also looped the watch as best I could and validated all the parts against “MWO”.
I do not time my watches so I cannot tell how many seconds a day its running fast or slow but it’s keeping good time and the chronograph functions correctly and returns to zero. All parts are to the best of my knowledge original to the watch. I do not have an archive for it but if there are any issues in getting one from Omega I will take the watch back.
Movement: The Cal 321 is in “very good condition” with little damage to the finish and screw heads. The s/n 24,634,XXX appears to be correct for this model and age.
Case: The CB case is in “Good to Very good condition”, the CB facets are defined, case appears to be lightly polished, no major dings, some scratches, caseback engravings sharp and defined, inside caseback marked correctly as shown in “MWO”
Crown: The crown is A4, 24 teeth with the narrow Omega symbol with flat feet which is correct for this model and year as shown by “MWO”. In “good condition”.
Pushers: The pushers are the correct short stem pushers based on “MWO” and in “good condition”.
Dial: Is the B3 spaced T and is correct according to “MWO”. The Lume has flaked off some of the hour markers. The rest of the dial is clean. I believe the condition deserves a “good” rating but I will leave that up to the viewers.
Bezel: A very nice DON bezel in “good to very good” condition.
Bracelet: Comes with the JB Champion mesh bracelet. I personally do not like this bracelet because I have a difficult time adjusting it but it is correct for this watch.
