·First I appreciate all the help.
When I bought this Speedmaster I had never heard of CB or HF cases. I just knew I wanted a cal 321 with rich patina and in original condition, i.e. having correct crown, bezel insert, dial and hands.
I’ve now since discovered, as you all know, that there were two distinct cases manufactured for this year, 1967.
My case back is marked CB, however, the case no longer shows the facets on top of the lugs.
I’ve searched the forum trying to find an example of a polished CB case, but, so far, no luck.
In your opinion, is this a polished CB case or something else? If not a CB case is it worth sourcing a CB case? Appreciate all replies and thanks again.
