Hello mate.. lovely watch and I really do like those flat link bracelets. (I have a service replacement 1171/633. It's very nice, but I prefer the flat link bracelets like yours) Anyway... you asked for some comments. I'm also very new to vintage watches but as my only watch is a 105.012-65 I'll give it a go:
I agree with comments about replacing the old hands if they are OK. If that's not an option then you could get them aged nicely to match lume on the plots.
nice side shot of the crown and pushers, but one of things I love about the 105.012 is the way the short pushers with fat tubes sit into the asymetric protection of the case. Also am I wrong in thinking the crystal is a bit domed to be original. My crystal is original but has a flatter profile.

Not a bad condition for a 50 year old Dot over 90 bezel and the case back engraving is still well defined. (Wish mine was
)
I'm pleased for you mate. I'm very fond of the 105.012. It's a beautiful reference. I like to think of them as the 'On the Moon Watch'???
Has it got any cogs and wheels and springs and stuff inside?
