The color of the light depends on the price I'd reckon

Can't get a better close up of the dial? Lighting is a bit off and pic is fuzzy. What's going on with the lume plots?

I guess all the tritium has fallen off. All the parts looks legit?

All the tritium probably wouldn't have fallen off... And the hands are empty too. I can't tell if the dial has some damage to it. Doesn't look like a great example. IMO

I saw this one as well, the spelling of one word in the ad, along with the cheap price had me suspicious......perhaps wrong but I would be cautious when it seems too good to be true

Real Name: Anyi Montero Montero / Anyi Paolarelis

Location: Santiago de Chile (or so he claims)

Handphone/WhatsApp: +1 (903) 422-7090

Regular Email: [email protected]

PayPal Email: [email protected]

Original sales link: http://www.chronocentric.com/forums/chronotrader/index.cgi?page=1;md=read;id=76331

Background: This SCAMMER conned me into logging into my PayPal account and "confirming receipt" of the watch, so that PayPal will release the funds to him as his account was on review, probably for scamming other people as well. His excuse was that he needed the funds urgently and also to pay for shipping cost. Gut feeling told me I should not, but I still fell for it. Subsequently he still tried to sell the watch to other members after taking my money. After I called him out for selling the same watch to other members of this forum. He decided to block me on WhatsApp. This guy is a master of the rules of PayPal. He told me that I would still have protection even after releasing funds to him. Releasing funds via confirming receipt on PayPal pushed forward the fund release date from September 16th to August 29th. He knew the rules inside and out, because I can only open a dispute and escalate to a claim on 3rd September. Meaning the funds would be released to him on 29th and he can repeat his scam elsewhere. What a crook!

Here's an amusing update. Looks like I teleported to Chile and stole the watch. LOL. And now he did me a favour by escalating to a PayPal claim, which I wasn't able to do at first. So now the monies are stuck in PayPal escrow. I know he's monitoring the forums and especially this thread. So I just wanna say. "Game on sir. Game on. It's extremely hard to get a Chinese guy to part with his money. I will fight tooth and claw for it back. Mark my words."

I asked for the seller (scammer) to post a better scan of the movement clearly showing the serial number. Shortly after he did, the watch was sold. I foolishly congratulated him when I should have posted why I wasn't a customer: It was too good to be true 🙁

It's alright my friend. Isn't my first rodeo. PayPal has always stood by me. I hope they don't let me down now.

PayPal has always stood by me.

Well that is certainly a phrase I have never heard before...

Hopefully they come through for you this time.

Fingers crossed! They protect buyers more than sellers I guess.

While I am sure it's difficult to post a thread like this, it provides a valuable lesson and information to the community. You are to be commended for doing so. I am sure PayPal will support your case, especially looking at his claim regarding "pick-up" with no substantiated communication around it, and the fact that you are in a different country. You may also want to talk with your credit card company and find out what protection you may have via them? Perhaps the ability to dispute the charge via fraud?? Good luck and I hope this all resolves in your favor.
