I saw this one as well, the spelling of one word in the ad, along with the cheap price had me suspicious......perhaps wrong but I would be cautious when it seems too good to be true
I asked for the seller (scammer) to post a better scan of the movement clearly showing the serial number. Shortly after he did, the watch was sold. I foolishly congratulated him when I should have posted why I wasn't a customer: It was too good to be true 🙁
PayPal has always stood by me.
Well that is certainly a phrase I have never heard before...
Hopefully they come through for you this time.
While I am sure it's difficult to post a thread like this, it provides a valuable lesson and information to the community. You are to be commended for doing so. I am sure PayPal will support your case, especially looking at his claim regarding "pick-up" with no substantiated communication around it, and the fact that you are in a different country. You may also want to talk with your credit card company and find out what protection you may have via them? Perhaps the ability to dispute the charge via fraud?? Good luck and I hope this all resolves in your favor.
