I do receive a new watch Omega Z-33. I noticed yesterday that the watch do not make any sound as :
Beep for chronograph.
Alarm ring on alarm or timer.
I figure out if it’s just the battery. If any did have the same problem.

Thank you, Pierre.

Greetings, I do not have a Z-33, but like them and read through the basic manual available on the Omega site.

If the battery is weak, requiring replacement, the second hand will jump in 5 second intervals. If that isn't happening, I do not believe it is a battery problem.

If you look at page 28 of the manual, there is a special feature describing setting up the watch for a Regatta. In that there is an option to "stop" beeping. It could be the procedure is describing stopping beeping only for that instant (as opposed to turning it off completely). Unless someone else knows for sure, perhaps you could run through that to see if it has anything to do with your dilemma.

If you purchased it new from Omega, your next step should be to see what they have to say.

Yes.
Did check that also. Still nothing. I will figure it out with my local dealer. But as a complex watch nobody really know...

I had this issue with my X-33 when it came back from Omega having had its battery replaced (so definitely not the battery). What I suspect had happened is that something was damaged or incorrectly put back during the battery change. There is a thread here that discusses this (apologies if I am missing one from this forum) https://forums.watchuseek.com/f20/x-33-no-alarm-188723.html

I returned the watch to Omega, who performed a full service free of charge and the watch is once again working fine.

I don't know if the Z-33 suffers the same issues.

Merci Trispey.
What I saw on all this treads. Is it could be just the screw too tight on the back. Too easy on my opinion. But if it’s that well.
The battery sticker says it had been change in 05/2019. The watch came on with alarm on ...
I’ve been on my AD today. They taking a look on this. I still have the watch. Hopefully, I have a service center here on my little tiny island but there is this virus...

Or could it be this problem :
- contact spring fell off when battery was changed by the AD before the sell.
- or the insulator had been put over the spring and the hole is not in his place ...
