How exactly do you expect to buy a 14 year old watch 'brand new'? Unless you buy it from Omega, who have none of these left, it is by definition second hand.
The World of Speedmasters IS a fascinating place @padders . I gave up assuming a long time ago..... A friend of mine told me about it so I hope he's right for your sake ! And still available after my damning post on the Omega forum..... Mr Red Baron of Singapore. Give me a shout if you are interested
As Lord Cutler Beckett ( Pirates of The Caribbean , At World's End ) would say... " It's nothing personal Jack .... It's just....good business.... " There's 0ne available ( fingers crossed ! ) for £ 6371 from where I come from....
There are a few floating around in the £6-£8k bracket in very good condition @SgWatchBaron - haven't seen one advertised as "new/unworn" for a long time - that doesn't mean there's not one out there somewhere though. Will keep an eye out for you.
There was one at the Birmingham watch fair for £5500 presumably not new though, and a Watchco SM300 for £2450. I passed on both. Did I drop a clanger? Should I have snapped one or both up? Oops!
If so, hopefully he will also contribute to this thread also https://omegaforums.net/threads/philanthropic-interests.25051/
