I personally don't see any red flags, but better safe than sorry ;-)

    cheers, Al

Looks just fine to me. I don't hink that I've seen a ceramic bezel SMP faked and the position of the helium valve and size of the lume pip at 60 looks fine.

Looks ok based on the pictures. The real question is what's prompting you to ask and do you trust the seller?

Actually there are very good fakes. :(
Before purchasing one online, I'd try to dig up fake forums, to know what to check, and how to spot the fake.

and, the most important: Buy the seller not the watch!

hope you will like it as well ....

I have a slight nitpick ... its quite a shiny sparkling watch for a tool watch ...

but looking at the pics - that is not a surprise - so there should not be any problems

    cheers

    Nothin' wrong with shiny :)

The SMP's wearability is one of its remarkable characteristics. Prince William even wears his with black tie [you could argue though that a prince can wear pretty much whatever he wants, whenever he wants]. Some people gripe a little about the design of the bracelet, but that's kind of like a vintage car enthusiast complaining about excessive use of chrome in the 60s and 70s; the bracelet is one of the watch's defining features.

Princesses and Princes often SET the style, not get pushed around by it. Therefore, this watch (and maybe others in the collection? Blue Chronograph, anyone?) and black tie are OK. ;-)
