I've seen a few mentions on Youtube and other forums that the bracelet on this model has some sharp edges to the point where you may get hotspots or chafing. Has this been anyone's experience? For reference, I own an older 8500 AT and I've found the bracelet to be very comfortable.

Have one for 2 years now. Never experienced something like that. To me the bracelet feels comfortable.

Almost 18 months worn everyday, no sign of described problems.

I think overall it isn’t that bad. I sometimes get annoyed that the inner portion of the clasp has such a pronounced arch for the pin button to connect to.

A random complaint that I have is that the half links don’t rotate well and do contribute to some minor discomfort. Really improves comfort when I only use whole links.

I've had one since January '19 and the bracelet is the most comfortable bracelet I've every worn. No sharp edges, just right.

I've had mine since January of 2019 as well, and I can attest to the sharpness of the bracelet edges (and I'm no ninny lol). That said, they have become less so in the past year and a half.

I tried a 300m pro on right after a planet ocean back when I was still trying to decide. The pro was definitely sharper than the planet ocean but it was way lighter. Maybe a wash there? Dunno but It may depend in your wrist, skin and sensitivity. Ultimately for me the PO just was so much more immediately comfortable I went with that, but I STILL want to pick up the pro.
