路Gentlemen,
Bought my first ever Omega SMP 300 watch and I'm super excited about it. 馃榾 Also this is my first ever automatic watch. This could be most likely my lack of experience speaking but it bothers me. OK to my question, I know that the power reserve time specified by omega is of 48hours but mine doesn't seem to hold up that long. I don't wear this watch every day to work but in the weekends. I noticed that my watch get stopped after 10 hours or so once left in in the drawer without any movement. For an instance say that I wear it from on 1st of Jan from 10am to 2pm and place it safely in my drawer. Isn't the watch supposed to be stop working around 2pm on the 3rd of Jan at 2pm? Mine would just stop around 2nd of Jan perhaps at 1am in the morning or so. Mind you though I don't wind the watch much. Please can someone explain? Do you think that the watch is having some kind of a fault?
Also I'd like to know, given my usage is it advisable wind the watch once a day so that I don't have to set time every time I wear it during the weekends? Also how many winds should I do at a given time? I dont think crown will stop or give me any indication as to whether or not the watch is fully wounded. I read somewhere that the screw will be stiff and no longer can be wound when it is fully wound?
Really appreciate your inputs gentleman so that I can ease up my mind about this. Attached a pic of my beauty for ya 馃榾
