Omega SM300 relumed?

Hi Folks,
Would anyone mind giving their view on whether this dial has been relumed or not? It looks okay to me but I know how much the SM300's are messed about with! I've attached the best pics I have...

Many thanks,

Mike.

Haven’t we seen this one before? That crack in the bezel looks mighty familiar.

I can't answer that obviously...! I've been offered by a dealer in the UK that's all I can say...

I didn't think Hyman would duplicate the pinholes at 12 and 6, but a check of his IG site shows he does. You don't often see original lume that matches this perfectly on dial and all three hands.

It’s beautiful, I will say that.
@mikeyluckett - can you leave a deposit, take some close up pictiures, and possibly get movement/ case back shots to post here?
If you can get a little more detail and share the asking price, I’m sure folks here can help you get an idea of the value.

The dealer wants a quick sale so no go on the deposit and extra pics unfortunately... I saw it in person and the case back and movement all look fine plus there are plenty of service markings on the inside of the case. Serial number is 2422XXXX which puts it around '66/67 making the bezel correct. The case itself is a little worn but seems pretty honest. I have just received a vid of the lume glow after a v large powerful uv torch was applied close up in the dark and it glows bright initially and then slowly fades over about a 20 second period which may be unduly long??? Any thoughts on how long lume should continue to glow in the dark after being exposed to strong UV light?!

Sorry I should have said price is very reasonable indeed but I would rather buy one that hasn't been relumed and pay more to be honest!

I don’t think it’s a James relume James is a perfectionist and it looks like the doesn’t go to the end of the plots

Looks original lume to me

Relume or not, it’s about how I would want one to look and if the price is right....

4.5K GBP....which is probably fair for a relume...? It does look great! Mmh decisions...

Yeah, I would buy that. Not much more than for a watchco as discussed in a other thread...and this one is genuine

You could hold out and find a beater with moldy lume and “skeleton” hands for £5k...or this one that you would actually want to wear
